ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Discord Manager to run the TFF Breaks community server day to day. This role is responsible for keeping the server safe, active and well organised, covering moderation and member support, engagement and events, and server setup and bots.

This is a part-time role with flexible hours and the opportunity to go full time for the right person. Compensation depends on experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own day-to-day moderation, enforcing server rules fairly and resolving disputes between members
• Provide member support, answering questions and tickets and escalating order or payment issues to the team
• Drive engagement around live breaks, posting announcements and reminders and keeping chat active
• Plan and run giveaways and community events
• Welcome new members and help them find their way around the server
• Maintain channels, roles and permissions, keeping the server structure tidy and secure
• Configure and troubleshoot bots and automations, including moderation, ticket and giveaway bots
• Keep the rules, FAQ and pinned information up to date
• Maintain a moderation log and report recurring issues and member feedback to the team

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience moderating or managing an active Discord server
• Strong working knowledge of Discord roles, permissions and common bots
• Clear written communication and a calm, fair approach to conflict
• Reliable within the hours you commit to, including some live breaks
• Discretion when handling member and customer information
• Preferable to have experience/interest in collectibles, particularly sports cards, and an understanding of that customer base and how breaks work
